Bond was born and raised in Macon, Georgia.  He graduated from Stratford Academy, class of 1989.  He attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 1993.  He then went on to work with Congressman Jay Roy Roland and Sam Nunn from 1993 to 1995 in Washington, D.C., before graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law.  Bond then joined his father, Otis Hale Almand, Jr., in his law practice in Macon, Georgia.  He began his career as a real estate attorney with McCalla-Raymer Law Firm in Atlanta, Georgia, before starting his own practice in Hiram, Georgia.  Professionally, Bond was most recently known for his real estate firm, The Almand Law Firm, based in Macon, Georgia; but he will be remembered mostly as a loving father and a friend to anyone who met him.
