Bobby Joe “Yossi” Everett Jr., 54, passed away after a brief illness on April 12, 2025, at Atrium Health Hospital, Macon Georgia. He was born in El Paso, Texas to the late Clara and Bobby Everett. He is survived by his husband of five years Frank “Tig” Meyer and their dog Peté. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Everett (Lisa); his sister, Susan Everett; his children, Kristen Everett (Michael) and Elizabeth Everett (Justin); and his grandchildren Michael Parker, Noah Dyches, Amitiel Parker, Cooper Pritchard, Walker Pritchard, and Haniel Parker. Bobby served in the United States Army as a Corporal in the 101st Airborne division where he later became a Chaplain. He proudly served in Operation Desert Storm. He later became a certified esthetician and was awarded best in Fayetteville, NC multiple times. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with friends and family. During the Christmas season, he was well known for baking treats and making sure everyone had their share. He was highly involved with his community and gave council to many in their search for betterment.
A memoriam will be held at 10:00am Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon GA 31201 with Rabbi Elizabeth Bahar officiating.
