Bobby Gene Haynes

Bobby Gene Haynes, 82, of Gray, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Greene Settlement Road, Gray, with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.

Bobby was born in Pine Mountain to the late Onie Dade Powell and Joseph Haynes. Bobby served in the Army and after discharge pursued a career in Carpentry. He achieved Master Carpenter and retired from Warren Associates after 31 years of dedicated and superlative service.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Rita Ward Haynes, his son, Linn Haynes; parents, Joseph and Onie; brothers, Thomas and James, and sister, Elizabeth Haynes Garner. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Monica Brady (Terry), granddaughters, Suzanna and Allyson, sister-in-law, Mary Jo, sisters, Rosie Mae Carter and Onnie Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Bradley Baptist Church Capital Improvement Fund, P.O. Box 61, Gray, GA 31032.
