Blanche Neel Redding

Mrs. David Barrett Redding, Sr.

The former Blanche Hall Neel, age 84, died Sunday morning, November 1st. She was the wife of the late David Barrett Redding. She was a member of old Macon families; daughter of the late Roland Hall and Evelyn Juhan Neel, granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Norris Neel and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jefferson Juhan. She was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Neel Stallings.

Mrs. Redding is survived by three children and their families: David Barrett Redding, Jr. (Janie) and Blanche Redding King (Allen) of Macon, and Evelyn Redding Heald (Tom) of Atlanta, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother, Joseph Norris Neel, III and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, where she was a life long member as were many generations of her family. Minister officiating is Reverend Chip Miller. Private burial in Riverside Cemetery.

The family will be at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, 5-7PM Tuesday, November 3rd.
