Bishop Frank Ray

Bishop Frank Ray passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road with Pastor Gary Ray, Sr. officiating. Bishop Ray was born to the late Arlandus Ray, Sr. and the late Rosetta Ray. He was the owner of Middle Georgia Amateur Boxing Club. Bishop Ray was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Arlandus Ray, Jr. and Willie Ray, Sr.; and daughter, Linda Ray Josey. Survivors include his children, Brenda Ray Smith (Willie) of Macon, Karen Larry of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Jackie Burton (Kenny) of Atlanta, Angela Simmons (Samuel) of Macon, Nicka Ray of Macon, and Addie Jean Lane (Bill) of Dover, New Hampshire; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; and sister, Georgia Mae Ray Patterson (Benjamin) of Macon.
