Billy Rogers Pritchard

Dry Branch, GA- Billy Rogers Pritchard, 78, of 3685 Myers Street, died Monday, May 9, 2011. Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church, Dry Branch, Georgia. The Reverends Doug Harris and Bill Linder will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Mr. Pritchard was the son of the late Benjamin Frank Pritchard and the late Janie Mae Houston Pritchard. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo Pritchard and a sister, Marion Pless. Mr. Pritchard was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and taught the Mixed Adult Sunday School Class. He was a guidance counselor for many years with the Houston County Board of Education. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served in the Korean War. Mr. Pritchard is survived by his wife, Peggie Pritchard; children, Lisa Pritchard Suggs, Lori Pritchard and Billy Rogers Pritchard, II (Felicia), all of Dry Branch; grandchildren, Angie, Wesley and Logan Helmer and Kaylie and Taylor Pritchard; sister, Elizabeth Robinson of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
