Billy Harris Keys

Billy Keys, 76, of Gray, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Hart’s Jones County Chapel with the Reverend John Haney officiating.  Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Jones County Animal Control, 1015 Monticello Highway, Gray, GA 31032.

Billy was a graduate of Jones County High School. He was retired from Youmans Chevrolet after more than 30 years of service in the parts department. Billy loved working in his workshop, spending time outdoors, fishing, and drinking coffee. He was the son of the late Hazel Chapman Todd and the late George Harris Keys.

Billy is survived by his wife, Aylene Keys of Jones County; two daughters, Katrina Franzen and her husband Tony of Warner Robins, and Shelley Lewis and her husband Fred of Jones County; five grandchildren, Jessica Johnson of Forsyth, Billie Payne of Macon, Hunter Barnes of Warner Robins, Taylor Barnes of Warner Robins, and Ariel Lewis of Jones County; two great grandchildren, Carter Johnson and Dalton Johnson, both of Forsyth; sister, Elaine Davis of Americus, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
