Billy Harmon Bryant

BILLY HARMON BRYANT passed away on August 28,2010 with his family at his side after an extended illness. He was born on April 7, 1932 to Lemmie Wyche and Louis Harmon Bryant and had lived in Macon all his life. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 1370 Briarcliff Road, Macon, Georgia 31211 on Monday August 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim Dant officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends after the service at the church. Billy graduated from Lanier High School for Boys in 1951 and attended Mercer University where he met his wife. After college he went to work for Keebler Company where he held many positions before he retired after 34 years. He was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church and the Journey Sunday School Class. He was a devoted family man and adored his two children and four grandchildren. His most favorite time was spent on summer trips with his family at the beach or mountains. He always considered his children's spouse's his very own children. He enjoyed scuba diving and made many trips out of the country with the Middle Ga. Divers Club. His family wishes to thank his kind and compassionate caregivers during his illness, Sharon, B.J., Crystal, and Sandie along with his Hospice nurse, Jeannie. He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 55 years, Barbara Mullis Bryant, daughter, Lisa (Jimbo) Walker of Macon, Benjie Harmon Bryant ( Sara Lynn) of Reynolds Plantation, and four grandchildren, Bryant and Sailer Walker of Macon, and Caroline and Alyson Bryant of Reynolds Plantation and several cousins.
