Bill Tucker

Bill Tucker passed away on May 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA with the Reverend Jay Tucker and Dr. Jason Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Elam Memorial Gardens Cemetery with a visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Bill was predeceased by his parents Truman and Rheba Tucker. He was a native of Arkansas and a member and former trustee of Gray United Methodist Church. He retired as the Telecommunications Manager of Contel and following his retirement, he owned and operated Bill's Computers. He was also a member of the DQ Coffee Club. Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Tucker of Gray, GA; daughter, Michelle Davis (Jarrell) of Greenland, Arkansas; son, Mitch Tucker of Macon, GA; two grandchildren, Misha Reed of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Shelby Tucker of Norfolk, Virginia; brother, Truman Tucker, Jr. of Dardanelle, Arkansas; and a granddog Penny.
