Betty J. Young

Macon- Betty J. Young, of Macon, Georgia was called home Saturday, November 21, 2009 after a bravely fought battle with an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Breathitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna White. She was a retired production manager with the Tom's Food Company. She was an avid member of the Macon Women's Bowling Association. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Young of Macon; Sons, Jeff Young of Wilkinson County, Ga.; Phillip Young of Jones County, Ga.; Richard Young of Twiggs County, Ga. Seven Grandchildren and One great grandchild. Sisters: Christine Henson of River Caney, Ky.; Naomi Hudson of Macon; Debbie White of River Caney, Ky.; Molly Neace of River Caney, Ky; and preceded in death by her loving brother Bruce White of River Caney, Ky.
