Betty K. Renfroe Jones

Betty K. Renfroe Jones, 85, of Lizella went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 2:00PM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Reverends Lee Griffin and Copeland Hammond officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church and may be contacted at the residence of Linda and Terry Spires, 21 Sweet Water Court. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia 31216. A resident of Lizella, Mrs. Jones was born in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia following thirty-two years of service. Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband of sixty-five years, William Leon Jones; an infant son; grandson, Ronald Jones; great-granddaughter, Christin Young; and parents, Worth Renfroe and Louise Smith Renfroe. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Wesley Jones (Lucy), Linda Spires (Terry), Stanley Jones, Kay Brooks, and Nancy Stedman (Tommy); eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Faye Roberts (Bob); several nieces and nephews.
