Betty Jean Oller

Betty Jean Oller, 81, of 2865 Jane Allen Drive, went to her heavenly home Sunday, August 23, 2015. Services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at noon in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Kenny Parham officiating. Her resting place will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 11:00AM until noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Oller was a member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, her church and the beach. She retired from Brown and Williamson after twenty five years of service. Mrs. Oller was a great cook and liked to garden and dance. She never met a stranger and loved life to the fullest. Mrs. Oller was predeceased by her parents, James Gordon Henson and Willena Elizabeth Denton Henson, and by her siblings, James, Charles, Russell and Tommy Henson, Virginia Riley and Martha Coburn. Mrs. Oller is survived by her husband, Howard Oller of Macon; daughter and sons, Stephanie Owen (Richard Johnson) of Macon, Jimmy Oller (Allison) of Juliette and Timmy Oller (Diana) of Perry; grandchildren, Logan, Cole, Scottie, Hawke and Scout; sister, Carolyn Leavell of Kentucky.
