Betty M. Mccrackin

Betty M. McCrackin, 78, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, with Reverend Bryan Hinson officiating.  The family will greet friends for a reception following the service.

Betty was born to the late Fred and Mary McCranie, on February 20, 1944, in Eastman, Georgia.   After graduating High School, she married Doyal McCrackin on August 25, 1962.   Doyle asked her to graduate before he would marry her.

Betty worked at Keebler Company for 35 years.  She was an active member at Calvary Community Chapel.  She enjoyed bowling, shopping, and baking.

Betty is survived by her son, Sean McCrackin (Kristen), of Macon; sister, Kitty Macon, of Orlando, Florida; several nieces and nephews; companion, Lewis Davis, of Macon; and best friend, Jane Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyal Kelly McCrackin.
