Ms. Betty Lou Holcomb, 80, of Macon, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The family will greet friends at Hart’s Mortuary Jones County Chapel, Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. Private interment will be at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens in Jones County, Georgia.
Betty was born in Macon to the late Nathaniel and Sarah Williams. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She enjoyed watching old Westerns and soap operas and was a great home cook. Betty was a faithful Pentecostal/Southern Baptist Christian. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis Holcomb; and siblings, Jane Gandy, Barbara Williams, and Danny Williams.
Betty is survived by her son, Robertt Holcomb (Teresa) of Gray, Georgia; son, Terry Holcomb (Janice) of Gray; grandchildren, Lacy Baugh (Nick), Haley Holcomb, Rebecca Holcomb, Hunter Holcomb, Matthew Holcomb, Joshua Holcomb (Rachel), Kara Fowler, Casey Mohs (Matt), and Kayley Johnson (Trey); great-grandchildren, C.J. Brookins, Hazelanne Brookins, Rylee Grace Baugh, Marlee Chapman, Anslee Chapman, Melody Rose Holcomb, Tate Holcomb, and Karter Johnson; brother, Bobby Williams, of Milledgeville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Audrey Holcomb; and brother-in-law, Jack Holcomb of Macon.
Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of arrangements.
