Betty Chambers Godbee

Betty Chambers Godbee, 88, of Macon, GA, passed away, Thursday, November 17, 2022.  A funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at West View Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Daughter of the late Felix and Carolyn Chambers, Mrs. Godbee loved to crochet and spending time with her family.  She was a member of the DAV Auxillary.  Mrs. Godbee was preceded by her husband, Palmer Godbee, son, Kimsey Sibley, and grandchild, Jennifer Leigh Sibley.

Mrs. Godbee is survived by her son, Lindsey Sibley of Gray; step-sons, Mike Godbee of Garfield, Georgia, and Alan Godbee (Mary Beth) of Sylvania, Georgia; grandchildren, Amanda Sibley Ingle (David) of Macon, Heather Sibley Dale (Terry) of McDonough, Georgia, Shannon Godbee Spivey (Mark) of Elko, Georgia, Brandi Lamere, Jayson Carter of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Jacob Godbee of Sylvania, Georgia; great grandchildren, Corbin Bailey Horne (Blake) of Perry, Georgia, Carley Brooke Ingle and Cohen Blake Ingle both of Macon, Tanner Wood, Kadence Dale, and Harper Dale, all of McDonough, Destiny Bohannon (Justin), Hunter Wilson and Kristina Spivey, all of Perry, Courtnie Wilson and Christopher Spivey, both of Elko; and great great grandchildren, Briggs Horne and Bentley Bohannon.
