Betty Ann (Fellows) Abney

Betty Ann Abney (62)  fought the fight, won the race and walked into the arms of Jesus on September 1, 2020.

Betty Ann was a dedicated wife first and foremost. She treasured her children and especially loved her role as being Nanny, embracing every moment she had with her grandbabies. She loved God and loved her family. She will be remembered for her big heart and love of singing.

Betty is preceded in death by her dear mother, Laverne Pinnell; brother, Jerry Fellows; and sister, Peggy Hartley.

Beloved cherished wife and best friend of Robert T. “Tommy”  Abney of 47 years; Loving mother of Tonya (Shaun) O’Leary of Marshall Michigan and Robert “TJ” (Holly) Abney of Macon, Georgia. Adored Nana and Nanny of Patrick (Mina), Kaity, Ariana, Mia and Elsie. Dear sister to Janet Boroff (Macon) and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

“…but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”  Proverbs 30: 30-31.

Memorial service will be private.
