Betty Jean East

Betty Jean East, 87, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery in Macon, Georgia. Bishop Earl Wiggins will officiate.

Jean was born on January 3, 1939, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Jerry Franklin and Elizabeth Brooks. Jean is survived by her children, Debra East and Rano Dean East; and her grandchildren, Troy East, Sheena Lucas, Beth Wiggins, and McKenzie East. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Delmar East, Sr., and her son, Bobby East, Jr.
