Macon- Bessie L. Peters, 74, of 50 Berry Road, died Thursday, September 25, 2008. Services will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Reverend Charles Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Hinson Cemetery, Twiggs County. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Saturday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. Mrs. Peters is survived by her children, Judy Witherington, Romona Elsasser and Rebecca Mathis, all of Macon, Tammy Witherington of Forsyth, and Lisa Cannon of Macon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
