Bertha Lorraine Johnson Sharp, 81, of 4268 Donnan Road, died Saturday, February 22, 2014. Memorial services will be held at a later date. At the request of Mrs. Sharp, her body was donated to Mercer Medical School. Mrs. Sharp, daughter of the late Charles B. Johnson, Sr. and the late Maroy Harrison Johnson, was predeceased by her son, Michael Anthony Sharp and her brother, Danny Johnson. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her husband, Jefferson David Sharp; son, Jefferson David Sharp, II of Mendenhall, Mississippi; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Louise Clance and Virginia Hollis, both of Jones County, Georgia, Jimmie Nell Spears of San Antonio, Texas, LaVerne Smith of Middlebrook, Florida, Charles Brooks Johnson, Jr. of Crawford County, Georgia, James Lee Johnson of Jones County, Georgia, Linda Woods of Goshay, Mississippi, Cynthia Peterson of Austell, Georgia and Roger Johnson of Jones County, Georgia.
