Bentley C. Haygood, Jr.

November 25, 1937 — February 16, 2011

Forsyth, GA- Bentley C. Haygood, Jr., of Forsyth, Georgia died Wednesday, February 16, 2011. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00AM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 40 Rumble Road, Smarr, Georgia. A reception will immediately follow in the Fellowship Hall with the family greeting friends at that time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 261, Smarr, Georgia 31086. Mr. Haygood was self-employed as a milk hauler and was a member of the Georgia National Guard. He was a lifetime member of National Rifle Association, American Hunting Club, North American Fishing Club and Wildlife Forever Organization. Mr. Haygood, son of the late Bentley Cleveland Haygood, Sr. and the late Beulah Ann Hough Haygood, was predeceased by his son, Bentley Cleveland "Cleve" Haygood of Forsyth, Georgia and by his sisters, Florrie H. Wilson and Edyth H. Wright. Mr. Haygood is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Haygood of Forsyth; daughter, Rene Haygood Turner (Chris) of Cody, Wyoming; grandchildren, Will Parker of Marietta and Kate Parker of Cody, Wyoming; great-grandchild, Keaton Parker of Cody, Wyoming.
