Benjamin David Barksdale

Macon- David Barksdale, 64, of 347 College Street, Apt 8-G, died Friday, April 3, 2009. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208. Mr. Barksdale was a Methodist. He was an avid golfer and a music lover. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Barksdale was predeceased by his parents, William H. Barksdale and Dorothy L. Elder, and by his brother, Jerry Barksdale. Mr. Barksdale is survived by his son, Scott Barksdale of Macon; grandchildren, Trevor Barksdale and Taylor Barksdale; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
