Barbara Burgess Reott

Barbara Burgess Reott, 67, of Macon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Beth Yeshua International.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be for family at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Barbara was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 3, 1955, to the late Clarence “Bud” Edward Burgess and Suzanne Burgess. She was a retired Elementary School teacher.  She volunteered at Pine Pointe Hospice, Daybreak, Meals on Wheels, the Youth Development Center, and many more.  She was a member of Beth Yeshua International and served as a missionary in Morocco.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joel A. Reott, of Macon; sons, Shawn Reott and Jason A. Reott (Heather), both of Brunswick, Georgia; and daughter, Angela Bearchell (David), of Macon; grandchildren: Jackson Reott, Jamie Reott, and soon to be Hannah Lynn Reott, Roxy Bearchell, Alice Bearchell, Trey Bearchell, and Zack Bearchell; mother, Suzanne Burgess, of Warner Robins, Georgia; siblings: Mike Burgess, Kathy Stephens (Mickey), Chuck Burgess (Anne), and Ann Wright (Keith); and several nieces and nephews.

Hart’s at the Cupola, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210 has charge of the arrangements.
