Barbara Pritchett Johnson

February 7, 1926 — January 17, 2018

Barbara Pritchett Johnson passed away January 17, 2018 at a local Hospital. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, north gate on Saturday, January 20, at 2:00PM with Reverend Derek McAleer officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Forest Hills United Methodist Church in memoriam. The family may be contacted at 1130 Lake Valley Road in Macon. Ms. Johnson was born February 7, 1926 in Macon, Georgia and she was a lifelong resident of Macon, Georgia where she attended A. J. Miller High school. She was employed over the course of her life at Belk-Mathews Department Store, Warner Robins Air Force Base, and she retired from Cigna Insurance Company. Ms. Johnson was a Charter Member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Grace Bible Class. Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Paul N. Johnson; father, Claudius P. Pritchett; mother, Gladys W. Pritchett; and brother, Claudius P. Pritchett, Jr. Ms. Johnson is survived by her sister, Shirley A. Pritchett; son, Dr. Randall C. Johnson (Paula G.); daughter, Paula S. Johnson; grandson, SFC Christopher P. Johnson (Laurie); great-granddaughters, Addison and Brooke; grandson, R. Keith Johnson (Chelsea); great-grandson, Oliver; brother-in-law, Robert Waller (JoAnne); nephew, Danny Pritchett; and nieces Terry and Spring Pritchett.
