Barbara James

Barbara James passed away on December 22, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM, Friday, February 20 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The Reverend Tim Long will officiate. The family will greet friends after the service. The family may be contacted at 104 Lotus Point Drive, Macon, GA 31220. Mrs. James was born in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Peter and Doris Squire Christman. She was a retired school teacher in the Brevard County School System. Mrs. James loved the water, everything outdoors and she attended Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. She was very talented, with the proverbial green thumb, when it came to gardening and plants. Mrs. James is survived by her fiancé, Frank Thayer of Macon; sons, Peter Malinosky of Las Vegas, Nevada and Michael Malinosky of Ft. Meyers, Florida; brother, Peter Christman, Jr. of Hartford, Connecticut; and granddaughter, whom she dearly loved, Gabby Morris of Macon. Friends may sign the guest book online at www.hartsmort.com.
