Barbara Ann Hatcher Glore

Barbara Ann Hatcher Glore, 83, of Byron, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00AM at Lizella Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Minton officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary.  Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lizella Baptist Church Building Fund, 2590 S. Lizella Rd., Lizella, GA 31052-4119.

Mrs. Glore was a member of Lizella Baptist Church.  She worked at Streetman’s (Keebler) Bakery for 10 years and for the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department for 18 years, where she retired as a Lieutenant Officer.  Mrs. Glore was the daughter of the late Wilbur Roy Hatcher and Nellie Louise Morris Hatcher.  She is also preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Hatcher Turner.

Mrs. Glore is survived by her husband, Robert Taylor “Cotton” Glore, Sr.; daughter, Teresa Glore Perry of Warner Robins; son, Robert Taylor (Pam) Glore, Jr. of Lizella; grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Thomaston, Wesley (Karalee) Glore, Kimberley (Jeremiah) McDonald, Taylor (Angelica) Glore, Matthew Perry, Lee (Stefanie) Anthony, and Rhett (Kathryn) Anthony; great grandchildren, Hailey, Samuel, Dallas, Skyler, Bradley, Brittney, Shelby, Colt, Eli, Ethan, Lauren, Robert, Boone, Sidekick (new baby due September 7), and Braden; and several nieces and nephews.
