Barbara Fay Hughes DeVore: 69, of Macon,Georgia passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the First Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta at 3:00 p.m. Reverend John Carroll and Reverend Bill Hammond will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 6p.m. till 8 p.m. in the funeral home Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Hughes and Lucille Jones Hughes. She was the Food Service Manager for the Miller Middle Schools in Bibb County. She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she served as a Deacon. She is survived by her husband, Jerry DeVore of Macon; Children, David C. (Kathy) DeVore of Forsyth, Ga. and Denise Roberts of Macon. Five Grandchildren; Sister, Betty Jean Gerald of Statesboro, Ga.
