Barbara Frances Cox

Barbara Frances Ledger Cox, age 85, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013. A memorial service will be at 11:00AM Monday, June 17, 2013 at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, with the Reverend Ronnie Griffin officiating. Interment will be at 2:30PM on Monday at Coleman's Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery, Wadley, Georgia. The family will greet friends on Monday from 10:00-11:00AM at the Cupola. Barbara was the widow of Lynwood Joe Cox and the daughter of the late Daniel and Pauline Aycock Ledger. She loved arts and crafts, including crocheting, beading, making birdhouses and Christmas ornaments. Barbara's family was everything to her; she loved family get-togethers. Barbara is survived by her sons, Anthony (Linda) of Macon, Georgia, Bruce (Diane) of Macon, Georgia, Joe (Kimberly) of Buford, Georgia, and Mark Cox of Dry Branch, Georgia; daughter, Judy (Layne) Hendrickson of Benton, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, John Dan Ledger of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Paul Ledger (Sara Ellen) of Bartow, Georgia, and Ralph Ledger (Diane) of Maryland; and sister, Polly Kendrick of Seguin, Texas.
