Barbara Ann Mckenzie Mcguire

Barbara Ann McKenzie McGuire, 82, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on June 7, 2022. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola.

Barbara was born in Decatur, Illinois to the late Herman and Hazel McKenzie on December 7, 1939. She graduated from Decatur High School, and, following graduation, her family moved to Macon. Barbara worked at Warner Robins AFB, starting as a clerk-typist, and finishing her thirty-plus year career in the supply chain logistics department.

Barbara was preceded in death by Charles McGuire, her husband of 63 years; and her daughter-in-law, Tina McGuire.

She is survived by her son, Ron McGuire; and daughter, Laura Hodges; grandchildren; Patrick (Courtney) Hodges, and Kayla McGuire; sister, Jeanne (Gordon) Bennett; brother, Keith (Terri)McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews.
