Ava Davis Moseley

Ava Davis Moseley, 77, of The Rock, Georgia passed away March 3, 2020.  Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Stone Creek Baptist Church 1808, 854 Riggins Mill Rd, Dry Branch, Georgia 31020 with Dr. Donny Sutton­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment following the service at Stone Creek Baptist Church 1808 Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Thomaston Hospice, 512 S. Center St., Thomaston, Georgia 30286 or Cambridge House Enrichment Center, Inc., 2687 GA 154, Newnan, Georgia 30265.

Mrs. Moseley was born in Macon, Georgia to Robert Emory Davis and Ada Rector Davis. She graduated from Miller High School, where she was part of the State championship volleyball team. She loved the beach and listening to Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Mrs. Moseley loved playing the piano and was a former pianist for West Highland Baptist Church. She also loved painting, especially carousel horses.

Mrs. Moseley was predeceased by her husband, Louis B. Moseley, Jr.; parents, Robert Emory Davis and Ada Rector Davis; and three brothers, Clifford Davis, Earl Davis and Charles Davis.

Mrs. Moseley is survived by her sons, Brian (Maria) Moseley of The Rock, Georgia, Reverend Terry (Laural) Moseley of Cochran, Georgia; sister, Ada (Paul) Caldwell of Perry, Georgia; grandchildren, Garrett Moseley, Connor (Kasheyah) Moseley, Simone Moseley, Andrew Moseley, Hannah Moseley and Caleb Moseley.
