Autumn Shea Newman

Autumn Shea Newman , 38, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and forever friend, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Medical Center Navicent Health at 3:40pm.

Autumn was born at Houston County Medical Center on October 8, 1979 and began capturing hearts on that day with her contagious smile and electric personality. She attended Windsor Academy in Macon and graduated Valedictorian, Class of 1998. She was a personal banker for Capital City Bank and loved talking to and meeting new people. The most important thing to Autumn was her family. The love she shared with her husband and best friend, of almost 16 years, Chad, and the amazing two boys they have, Aiden 14 and Peyton 11 was undeniable. Her family always came first, whether it was a scout meeting, helping the boys with a project at school, or just sitting outside with Chad under the stars. If you were lucky enough to know Autumn, then you made a friend for life. She touched so many lives in a positive way and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. Her absence will be felt in every moment of everyday in every season, especially her favorite, Autumn. She will never be forgotten and will be forever etched in all our hearts.

Her memories will be kept alive and treasured by her husband and best friend, Chad Newman; sons, Aiden Newman and Peyton Newman, both of Lizella; her mother, Cindi Hopper (Jr) of Macon; one brother, Blake Hobbs (Jennifer) of Birmingham, Alabama; Step-brother, Chase Hopper of Macon; step-sister, Jennifer Price of Waycross; Step-father, Whitey Price; Maternal Grandmother, Anne Wilson of Macon; brother-in-law, Brett Newman (Lisa); mother-in-law, Jean Newman of Gray; 2 nephews, Cole Newman and Jake Newman; 2 nieces, Holly Newman and Amanda Evans; several cousins, aunts, uncles, and an incredible team of friends, neighbors, and work colleagues that truly became part of her family the moment they met her.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola. Services will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hart’s at the Cupola. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.

The family can be reached at the home of Chad and Autumn Newman, 7455 Columbus Rd, Lizella, Ga 31052 and will accept flowers or donations made in Autumn’s name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
