Arthur Dudley Whigam

Macon- Arthur Dudley Whigam, 54, son of Walter Arthur Whigam and Dorothy Martin Whigam, died at his residence the night of March 8, 2009. Dudley served in the United States Army for eight years and was proud to serve his country. He retired from Brown and Williamson with a medical retirement. He has struggled many years with very poor health. He is at rest now. Dudley was predeceased by his father, Walter. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Martin Whigam and his son, Walter Douglas Whigam, both of Macon; stepson, Brian Jones of Jonesborough, Tennessee; brothers, Martin Whigam (Bonnie) of Gray, GA and Griggs Whigam (Sandra) of Homerville, GA. A memorial service, led by the Reverend Lee Bennett, will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00PM at Cross Keys United Methodist Church, 1825 Jeffersonville Road, Macon, GA 31201.
