Arthur D. "Sandy" Thorsberg, Jr.

Arthur D. "Sandy" Thorsberg, Jr. Feb. 16, 1945- Apr. 5, 2016 Sandy passed away Tuesday April 5th. He was born in El Paso, Texas to the late Arthur D. Thorsberg, Sr. and Ida Ruth Staggs. He lived in Memphis, Tenn. for 26 years. He was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He married Tess Lavender in 1971 and became father to 3 year old Mike. He was employed in the engineering department at Brown & Williamson in Louisville, KY and Macon, GA for 30 years and retired in 2001. He leaves behind his wife Tess Thorsberg, son Mike (Moriah) Lavender, grandsons Art and Sam Lavender, brothers Frank (Anne) Thorsberg and Bill (Mary) Thorsberg.
