Arthur F. "Art" Lewis

Bolingbroke, GA- Arthur F. "Art" Lewis, 71, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. An outdoorsman, he loved to camp and play golf. Mr. Lewis was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick M. Lewis, Jr. and Janet Steere Lewis and by his brother, Bruce Lewis. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Margie Ann Phillips Lewis of Bolingbroke; children, Vicki Ellis (Charles) of Blountstown, Florida and Pamela Sterling (Richard) of Bolingbroke, GA; grandchild, Fletcher Lewis Sterling; brother, Richard Lewis of Vermont; several nieces and nephews.
