Arlene Chapman Smallwood

Arlene Chapman Smallwood, 75, of Jones County, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Jones County Animal Shelter because of her love for animals or to Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church. Ms. Smallwood was born on December 17, 1940 in Jones County where she lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ellis and Lillian Chapman and was predeceased by three sisters, Patricia Ard, Jennette Bunch and Audrey Chapman. Ms. Smallwood was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after thirty years of service. Ms. Smallwood is survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
