April Gilreath Rocker

April Gilreath Rocker, 37, went home to be with her Lord on December 15, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Ingleside Baptist Church. The Reverend Phil Bryant and Dr. Mark Hudgins will be officiating with burial following at Macon Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to the Children's Hospital, Navicent Health, 858 High Street, Macon, GA 31201. April was born on August 29, 1979 in Macon, Georgia. She graduated from Central Fellowship Christian Academy in 1998 and went on to attend Georgia Military College and later graduated from American Professional Institute with a certificate in Massage Therapy. April worked as a Medical Assistant at Middle Georgia Heart and Vascular Center for the past eleven years. She attended Ingleside Baptist Church. April is survived by her loving husband, Brian Rocker; her parents, Donnie and Nena Gilreath; paternal grandmother, Eldine Gilreath; brother, Chris Gilreath; sisters, Heather Biggs (Gary) and Holly Wharton (Seth); nephews, Caleb Castleman, Beau Biggs, and William and Jackson Wharton; nieces, Alexis, Ashlyn and Addison Castleman, Gracie and Mona Kate Biggs, and Emma and Claire Gilreath; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Lou Ann Rocker; brother-in-law, Chris Rocker (Grace); beloved canine companion, Dorsey; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. April was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carl Gilreath, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Mona Sims.
