Anne Bush Train died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at her home after a short illness from cancer. A memorial service, including Holy Eucharist, will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church at two pm on Friday, December 5, with The Rev. Sydney Caitlin Howell officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Parish at one pm. Mrs. Train was born Feb. 18, 1928 in Louisville, KY., the daughter of Monroe and Anne Hutchings Bush. She was a graduate of Sweet Briar College and married Hugh Moss Comer Train of Savannah, GA who predeceased her. They lived in Mobile, AL. before moving to Macon in 1964. She was an accomplished watercolorist, a member of The National Society of the Colonial Dames, Macon Town Committee; The Junior League of Macon, Inc; The Town and County Garden Club and St. Francis Episcopal Church. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn H. Train of Decatur, Ga., her sons and daughters-in-law, H. M. Comer Train Jr. and his wife Lillian Pope Train of Roswell, GA., Monroe Kirk Train and his wife Cathy Smith Train of Charlottesville, VA; four grandchildren, Christina Train Pearson and husband Price, H. M. Comer Train, III and wife Lauren, Kelley Elizabeth Train, and LTjg Samuel Kirk Train, USN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Museum of Arts and Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Road, Macon, GA. 31210 or The Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Road NW, Atlanta, GA. 30318. Condolences may be sent to the family at 2460 Harrington Drive, Decatur, Ga. 30033. Mrs. Train's family wishes to thank the thoughtful and loving care givers, as well as her many friends.
