Anne Davies Macalpine Lindelow

Anne Davies MacAlpine Lindelow of Macon died January 27, 2013 after a brief illness. There will be a private ceremony. Mrs. Lindelow was born September 19, 1935 in Somerville, NJ to the late William Mathews MacAlpine and Geraldine Grace Davies MacAlpine. Mrs. Lindelow was a graduate of Averett College, Danville, VA and the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. She moved to Macon in 1967 and was employed by the Girl Scouts. She was a volunteer for the Child Abuse Council, the Speech & Hearing Center, and was a longtime volunteer usher for Macon's Grand Opera House. She loved flower gardening and was known for her devotion to her pets, including the exotic birds she rescued. Mrs. Lindelow is survived by her four children: Kristen Lindelow (Phillip Koon), Scott Lindelow (Jules Zimmermann), Angie Carter (Ashly), and Guy Lindelow; nine grandchildren: Kathleen, Grace, Victoria, Morgan, Nicole, Ella, Quinn, Brenden and Hunter; and her sister, Jane MacAlpine Iglehart. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Zebulon Park Health & Rehabilitation.
