Anne Cook Hoyt

Anne Cook Hoyt, 86, of Macon, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Reverend Helen Willoughby will officiate. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 1228 College Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Hoyt graduated from Ocilla High School, Macon College and Medical Center School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse, retired from Coliseum Medical Center. Mrs. Hoyt is survived by her children, Patricia Hoyt Wayne (Gary) of Houston, Texas, Verne Freeman Hoyt of New York City, Robert French Hoyt of Bloomington, Indiana, Cary Mathews Hoyt of Macon, Mark Wesley Hoyt (Robin) of Gray, and Stephen Oliver Hoyt of Macon; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
