Anna Ernestine Hester Fulford died Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Funeral services will be held at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel on Friday June 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet friends on Thursday June 28, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Harts Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. Burial services will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia, Georgia. Mrs. Fulford was born March 27, 1925, in Treutlen County and lived in Gray, Georgia for 55 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry Barry Hester and Carrie Belle Walker Hester. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Fulford and Sons Construction. She was a member of Northridge Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lamar Fulford, son Herbert Fulford, and by six sisters: Irene Humphrey, Effie Lou McKay, Clara Mae Morris, Nora Gay, Vida Pearl Wilson, and Bessie Fulford.

Mrs. Fulford is survived by her children: Hilda (Curtis) Willis, Terrell (Shirley) Fulford, Joyce Grogan all of Gray, Georgia and Lynette Burroughs of Clayton, Georgia, Brother Troy Hester of Belton, South Carolina, 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
