Ann Adams Wall passed away on Sunday, November 28, after an extended illness. She was born in Dublin, Georgia, the daughter of the late Wiley and Martha Adams. Ann grew up in Dublin and graduated from Dublin High School. She then graduated from the University of Georgia where she was member of Phi Mu Sorority.
In 1954 Ann married John Lowe Wall, Jr., who predeceased her in death. She taught school for Bibb County board of Education, retiring in 1990. Ann was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church, George S. Jones Sunday School class, and the Hill and Dale Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Ann Allen and her husband, Bret, of Duluth, Georgia and their children Abby and Davis; and her son, John Lowe Wall III of Murphy, North Carolina, and his son, Charlie. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Adams Glover of Atlanta and Frances Adams Wingfield of Memphis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The Reverend Jimmy Duke and Dr. Marcus Tripp will be officiating. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia, 31204.
