Ann S. Davis

Ann S. Davis, 91, of Macon, passed away July 26, 2018. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 30, 2018 at Hart’s at the Cupola. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, c/o Navicent Health Foundation, 777 Hemlock Street, #78 Macon, GA 31201 .

Mrs. Davis lived in Macon, Georgia all her life. She graduated from A.L. Miller High School and Wesleyan College. She retired from Bank of America after 33 years. She then worked at Jean and Hall Florists for 11 ½ years. Mrs. Davis attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She volunteered with Auxiliary at Medical Center Navicent Health and at the Cherry Blossom Festival. She was the 2007 Cherry Blossom Senior Queen. She also enjoyed playing bridge. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Brantley Kirkland and Frances Bennett Simmons, and her husband of 48 years, John “Jack” H. Davis.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Ramsdell of Sarasota, Florida, Becky Gibson (Craig) of Apalachicola, Florida, Toni D. Deas (Leo) of Macon; son, Kirk Davis of Macon; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Leoniece D. Pinnell of Kingsland, Georgia; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
