Angela Rhea Ballard, 61, of Macon, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 14, 2018. Angie was an exceptional physician’s assistant, an accomplished equestrian, a lover of Christ, and a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and GiGi. Angie had many celebrated accomplishments personally and professionally but what she was best known for was her huge heart. She was a giver who loved to do for others, to make others smile and to lift them up when they were down. No matter what, you could always trust that Angie would be there to make you smile, laugh and brighten every single day. She was an amazing person who was taken from us way too soon. We take comfort in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is survived by her loving family, her friends who were her family and by every precious animal her huge heart had loved throughout her life. Her life will be celebrated by family and friends on Thursday, December 27, at 2:00 PM, at Piedmont Church, located at 6258 Thomaston Road, with the Reverend Jerry Dingmore officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following organizations in Angie’s honor: Save-A-Pet, Inc., P.O. Box 933, Forsyth, GA 31029 (478) 994-3882 or Merrifield’s Horse Rescue and Retirement, 6271 Forsyth Rd. Macon, GA 31210 (478) 361-6873.
