Angel Manuel Sanchez

Angel M. Sanchez, 92, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on May 17, 2021 at Heart of Georgia Hospice, Perry, Georgia. A Graveside service will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Sanchez was born October 28, 1928 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Baudilio Sanchez and Maria Teresa Gonzalez Padin Sanchez.  He was predeceased by his wife, Rosa A. Sanchez Velez (2008) and his son, Angel M. Sanchez, Jr. (2008).

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his long-time, loving partner, Terri Reed of Warner Robins, Georgia; son, Marc A. Sanchez of Byron, Georgia; three daughters, Liz Farrow of Warner Robins, Georgia, Maggy Calhoun of Lilburn, Georgia, and Cathy Genty of Roswell, Georgia; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Margaret Sanchez Tannuzzi of Port Charlotte, Florida.

Mr. Sanchez was very patriotic and served in the Navy from January 15, 1947 to September 9, 1968; he also fought in the Korean War.  After retiring from the Navy, he later retired from his second career with General Electric.
