Andrea Pyrz Lavender

Macon-Andrea Pyrz Lavender died on June 16, 2009. Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road with the Reverend Steve Johnson and Dr. Neal Wall officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 12:00-1:00PM, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201 or American Cancer Society, PO Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208. Mrs. Lavender was a band member and chorus member in A.L. Miller High School. She retired from Bibb County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew C. Pyrz, Sr. and sister, Karen Diane Pyrz.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Leonard J. Lavender, Jr.; mother, Joyce J. Pyrz of Macon; five siblings, Andrew C. Pyrz, Jr. (Dianne) of Macon, Raymond M. Pyrz, Sr. (Peggy) of Macon, Sue Jean Pyrz Hall (Johnny) of Lizella, Patty Pyrz Dinkins (Kerry) of Cairo, and Drew Anthony Pyrz (Shanda) of Cairo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
