Amelia Blair Huntsinger

April 13, 1986 — October 10, 2022

Macon

Amelia Blair “Mimi” Huntsinger, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and dog mom, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 10, 2022. A woman of tremendous faith in her Lord and Savior, Amelia is now safe in His arms and released from the horrible pain and suffering she endured from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome for many years. She was born in Macon, Ga. and attended Mount De Sales, Tattnall Square Academy, and Macon State College. Amelia had a beautiful voice and loved music, especially country and contemporary Christian music. She had an uncanny ability to hear a song once and remember the lyrics. She also was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. Those who knew her well were blessed by her fierce loyalty, love, guidance, and sarcastic wit.

Amelia is survived by her parents, Sherwood and September Carter; sister, Autumn Harvell (Charles “Chuckles”) and their son CJ (“Peej”); stepbrother, Ryan Carter (Karen) and their daughters, Hannah and Halle; stepsister, Melissa Fonzo (Freddy) and their sons Jackson and Alexander; and her great grandmother, Peggy Matthews. Also, her “other Mama”, Aunt, Shannon Carter (Steve), Aunt, Beth Chapman (Chris), and Uncle, Darrell Carter.  She was blessed to have two very special cousins, Derek Carter (Brittany) and Brandon Carter, and many other precious cousins and extended family.

She was predeceased by her father, Jimmy Huntsinger; grandparents, Chris and Gayle Conner, Wade and Margaret Carter, and her beloved fur babies Layla, Vannah, and Clancy.

A celebration of life service will be held at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola on Peake Road, Macon, Ga on Thursday October 13, 2022, at 3:00 p.m..
