Alton Ashley Wood, Jr.

Culloden- Alton Ashley Wood, Jr. passed away Friday November 26, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday November 29, 2010, at 2:00PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Burial will be at Middle GA Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday November 28, 2010, from 2:00PM until 4:00PM, at Hart's Mortuary. Flowers will be accepted. Alton was born and raised in Macon before moving to Florida. While living in Florida, he worked for many years at Red Lobster. Five years ago, Alton moved to Culloden to live with his mother. Since moving to Culloden, Alton has worked as a hairdresser at the Blair House, an assisted living home. He was a very sweet and affectionate person that everybody loved. Alton never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survivors: Mother, Annette F.
