Allyne Jane Alday

Allyne Alday (Semmelink), 91, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, October 10 at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201. Ms. Alday was born February 26, 1924 in Mina, New York. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Fern Alday; her sons Vim, Dirk and Henk; and her daughter Lisa Luhr. She was a WWII veteran, serving in the Philippines as a WAC. She retired from Huntington Hospital in Huntington, NY and worked many years at Publix in Macon. Survivors include her sister, Joan Minier of Punta Gorda, FL; son, Reinier Semmelink, of Macon; daughter, Linda Sweeney of Acworth; son, Erik Semmelink of Acworth; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
