Allie Elizabeth Yarn, precious daughter of Charlie and Mary Kate Yarn, passed away January 19, 2019, just 8 days after her birth. She was anticipated with great joy by her parents and their families. During her brief life, she was surrounded by love. Both she and her family were supported beyond measure by countless friends, colleagues, prayer groups, and the medical professionals who cared for her.

She is survived by her parents, Charlie and Mary Kate Yarn of Memphis, Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Doug and Lisa Yarn of Athens, Georgia; maternal grandparents, Dr. Lance and Liz Patterson of Alexander City, Alabama; paternal great-grandparents Joy Flint of Athens, and Charlie and Nannette Yarn of Huntsville, Alabama; maternal great-grandparents, Alberta Kimbrough of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Jim and Jean Patterson of Huntsville; aunts and uncles, Molly Greer Yarn of Athens, Brand and Kate Patterson of Sandy Springs, Georgia; and Will and Sara Patterson of Macon, Georgia; her big cousin, Quincy Brand Patterson of Sandy Springs; and an extended family consisting of many great aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Hart's Mortuary at The Cupola located at 6324 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. The family will welcome friends at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Liipfert at 111 Grove Pointe Drive, Macon, GA 31210, immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Methodist Germantown NICU, in honor of Allie Elizabeth Yarn. Checks may be mailed to Ms. Bea Allen, NICU Director, 7691 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN 38138.
