Allen Wayne Jones

Allen Wayne Jones, 77, of Bolingbroke, GA, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Hart’s at the Cupola. The family will greet friends following the service.

Allen graduated from Reddick High School in Ocala, Florida in 1963, where he played basketball and played the saxophone in the band. He worked for Radiology Associates for 35 years, followed by Neurology Associates for 12 years. He was a member of American Association of Radiology Technicians (AART), as well as Bethany Baptist Church.  He loved bicycling, canoeing, camping, and spending time outdoors.  Allen and Renee founded Morgan View Farm, where his best days were spent on his tractor.

Allen is survived by his wife of 35 years, Renee Comer Jones of Bolingbroke; daughters, Shawn Jones Lavender (Todd) of Macon, and Nichole Brewer (Steven) of Bolingbroke; sons, Truett Stokes (Ashley) of Macon, and Lindsey Allen Jones of Bolingbroke; eight grandchildren: Austin Sanderson, Julian Mullis, Bishop Treadwell, Devin Lavender, Krista Lavender, Blake Brewer, Nora Jane Brewer, Bo Davis Brewer; brothers, Larry Jones (Betsy) of Gainesville, Florida and David Jones (Laraine) of Macon; brother-in-law, Pat Johns of Gainesville, Florida; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Allen was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Dawn Randall; grandson, Brooks Randall; parents, Paul and Eleanor Jones; and sister, Gloria Johns.
