Alexander Marshall Vane

Macon-Services for Alexander Marshall Vane will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St Paul's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Hal Weidman officiating. Interment will be in the church memorial garden following the service. A Celebration of Life reception will follow the interment in the church undercroft. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Alex, age 20, graduated from Howard High School in May of 2010. He was an outstanding soccer player, quiz bowl and chess team member while in the Bibb County school system. His passion was playing the drums, music, and being a free spirit. His memory will forever be treasured for his quiet confidence and easy going nature. He will be sorely missed by his parents, Elizabeth Marshall and Raymond Vane; grandmother, Helen Vane; three siblings, James, Blair and Catherine Vane, and all the Marshall and Vane family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephew who will forever carry him in their hearts and souls.
